due to open skies all of the meadow pipits were very high and there would have been more than the few we could see, hear and count. A small but obvious movement of Wood Pigeons and Common Gulls to the east. North East winds never good here!! First Wheatear seen on Trough Lane on the way in. First Kestrels of the year (influx).
