Colour Ringed Meadow Pipits

Andy, Sean and Theo have just started a very interesting colour ringing project at Kex Gill, N. Yorkshire

Here are some photos of todays work and further info from Sean Grays "training to ring wild birds" very interesting website:

Please keep a good eye out and let us know of any sightings. I am sure Sean and Andy will keep us informed.

Very many thanks to Theo, Andy and Sean,

Dave

Cheers Andy

i see Theos filled you in re my colour ringing of meadow pipits - the more people out there looking for them will give better chances of a resighting.  fingers crossed we get some results from it as recaptures are low for that species.  We are initially going to do 5 years and see what we can get from that. we should ring well over 1000 in that time

  cheers
  Andy
