Weather: A damp morning with fine drizzle and a F1 E/N/E wind. 100% heavy low cloud with visibility down to1 mile.Temp 8c
Comments: A very poor morning hampered by bad viewing conditions. Although given there was slight easterly wind few calls were heard and very few birds seen.5 alba wagtails moving N/E was unusual for this site.
Hi Darrell Yes I see no reason why vis should not use your area. If the M62 uses this pass over the Pennines then some birds must also! You need a watch point with an elevated overview so you can get a good all round appreciation as to what is using the sky, both low and high. I will watch your web with interest as well as look on the map. Dave.
would my patch 'green withens' at the head of rishworth moor near halifax be any good for the vis mig?
