THE VISIBLE MIGRATION / MOVEMENT OF BIRDS OVER BRADFORD (UK) AND SURROUNDING AREAS WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON WEATHER AND SKY. NOW Including:
"OXENHOPE HOLISTIC SKY"!
Great photos Dave, Shame we never got photos like that of the Turdus Torquatus Amicorum that we found back in 2000,maybe then we,d have got it accepted.
Cheers Brian, Strangely enough I have just been looking out the old "amicorum" notes after corresponding with a friend, cant find them all. As previously, none to date have been accepted in the UK and say you say snaps are now, I think a necessity (bbrc). Thus I never submitted a description and i dont think anyone else did either. To me it is very still unclear what this bird was (torquatus / amicorum?). Have been looking at the weather scenario again and it was absolutely right! Out of interest I will mail you the info as you saw the bird along with us all.....
Cheers atrem, Managed to get hold of Howard on the radio, who got round from the other side of the hill in less than 10minutes!! but couldent raise the others that I tried on the mobile but they will see it here. Many thanks again,
