Denholme Clough... 13-09-2009
Howdo Folks,
Despite the clear skies early on there was a little bit of movement at Denholme (West Yorkshire). The Mipits came through in ones or twos for most of my visit, from 0700 - 0930. I was pleased to get another three Tree Pipits. A Sand Martin was still present with the House Martins and Swallows over the nearby village but not moving through. All the warblers have moved on except for a single Chiffchaff.
Meadow Pipits 66 mainly south
Pied Wagtail 1 West
Tree Pipit 3 East and SE
Chaffinch 16
Goosander 5 west
Kestrel 1 south
Mistle Thrush 1 south
Skylark 1 north
Goldfinch 17
Linnet 2
Swallow 9 south
Redpoll 1 east
Grey Wagtail 1
Regards
Mark
