Reva, Rombalds Moor.... fogged off! 08-09-2010

Fog dominated this morning's visit. Visibility on arrival at 08.00 was down to 100 feet. I stayed until 10.00 but only saw the reservoir for about five minutes when the mist thinned at about 09.30. At times, a light NE breeze came and went.

Bird totals as follows
Swallow 2 east
Meadow Pipit - one group of 28 north, 3 others went east.

The visibility had not improved by 10.00 so I left.

Local birds calling - Dunnock, Wren, Chaffinch, Little Owl.
