Comments: Essentially overcast overnight with deep fog from dawn til mid morning. Wind very light from a northerly qtr throughout with QNH rising then steady throughout. Very slow this morning, aided by miserable early conditions. Weather picked up slightly mid morning but no corresponding increase in birds. As BS would say - "loads o' nowt"!!.... Mipit - 3 S... Redwing - 26 SE... Fieldfare - 6 blogging... Bullfinch - 3 E... Greenfinch - 1 E.... Chaffinch - 9 E.... Goldfinch - 3 E... Lesser Redpoll - 2 E... Alba Wag sp. - 3 S... Reed Bunting - 1 E... Starling - 8 W... Heron - 1 high E... Golden Plover - heard only...
