Counting period: 8:00-10:00
Weather: slight SE breeze, 20% blue sky at first but increasing from the north. No rain. Visibilty fair to good.
Observers: shaun radcliffe only
Moving birds;
Skylark 10 -
Starling 5 -
Meadow Pipit 93 -
Chaffinch 4 -
Totals: 112 individuals, 4 species, 2:00 hours
Comments: Only a few mipits moving with some Skylarks but a disappointing visit. After 09.30 literally nothing moved past. Local birds - Buzzard, Kestrel, Canadas, Greylags, Chaffinch, Reed Bunting plus a single Redwing feeding on hawthorn with Blackbirds.
