Comments: Gulls not counted. Brilliant open sky and sunrise to the east but deep cloud and depression to the west. An amazing difference in conditions up at the watchpoint to those just 6km east and several hundred feet lower in the shadow of the Pennines where it was a calm placid pre dawn and well into the morning. Suggest this due to upper wind advancing with the next atlantic depression. Anyway whatever the cause it sluffened the vis, keeping most that there was well below our radar. Thrushes, a definate relocation SE this morning being the only noteable thing.
