Comments: Visit timed to suit clearance of fogs. Thunder storms developing and tracking over from Lancashire with torrential rain for a short while, otherwise just spitting but visibility becoming poor again. Urgent Swallow movement and a few Swifts in front of and across track of advancing storm. Spotted Flycatcher hunting from posts on open in-bye, many insects even when spitting. flava SW into storm. An interesting and dramatic three hours.
