Comments: A much better morning all round and getting beautifully warm as well. Lancashire clagg rolling over the tops got close at times but never actually reached our site. Pigeons active again but with the bigger balls all later in the morning (only the EPFF covered, the normal two/three man count would have located many more birds). Thrushes back on the NW track again and looking quite fresh. Waxwings, a small flock of five at 0820hr followed by a much larger one in two lumps at 0846, all going fast west. Trilling was heard from another but unlocated flock not included at 0900. Pinks, all high today in four skiens and in mid November fashion all SSE.
