Caldene Fields 18th of October 05 VM from 07.30 - 9.30am
Weather: A dry morning cool and cloudy with breaking cloud to the S/E. Good visibility to about two miles with a S/E F2 wind.

Comments : A very special morning! with vast numbers of Redwing moving S/W. Also two species of wader moving E & W which is very good for Low Moor.

Sparrow Hawk > 2 W
Golden Plover > 32 E
Snipe > 3 W
Black Headed Gull > 58 S
Wood Pigeon > 307 S + 18 E (Total 325)
Stock Dove > 1 N/W
Skylark > 4 N/W
Meadow Pipit > 12 S + 5 W (Total 17)
Pied Wagtail > 16E + 3S
Fieldfare > 1 E
Redwing > 1137 S/W + 36 E (Total 1173)
Mistle Thrush 4 N/W
Jackdaw > 61S
Carrion Crow > 6S + 4 N/W
Chaffinch > 4S + 5W
Greenfinch > 19E + 14W
Goldfinch > 8E + 3S
Starling >189 SS/W

Due to been swamped at times!! a number of Finches and Wagtails were not Logged an estimated count of these are
Finch Sp > 35
Alba Wagtails > 15
