Weather and Sky:
A rapidly improving afternoon with interesting skies but still damp with little wind / fogs forming later on. Wind: calm to variable W F1. Temp: 8. Visibility: 20km. Cloud: complex 3ok. Fog forming actively over the lower land and in the valleys. Lots of heavy cumulus to far NW. Pressure: rising 1012hpa.

A tranquil late afternoon, with various thrushes in the sky including two very high Blackbirds which dropped into the trees. Fieldfare, Redwing and Starlings were all going west. Unseen Redwings were heard overhead at the gates whilst leaving – almost dark and mists swirling waist high.

Redwing not possible to count all
Starling 75 > W in two groups (high and Lancashire bound)
Alba Wagtail 3 > W
Meadow Pipit 6 > W
Redpoll 20
Blackbird
