Kex Gill 09-09-2006

Dave

We were up ringing at kex gill this morning and caught a load of mipits (tonnes going over), a redstart and a few common bits and bobs. There were quite a lot (50+) swallows going east later in the morning. we also had an arctic skua - brilliant.

At Sandwith a brief look saw a Marsh Harrier and 3 skylarks - we then saw the harrier with what looked like a Hen Harrier but by this time views were distant.

cheers
Andy Jowett
