Oxenhope Watchpoint 06-04-2007
0900 - 1100hr
N F3, 3 > 9degC, 60km, 2/8 high, 1025 steady
A cold fresh spring morning with Meadow Pipits trickling through north all the time and reaching the rate of 108 per hr between 0900 and 1000hrs. Mainly in singles but many twos and some fives. A Ring Ouzel turned up in the horse field and several Wheatears were on the walls. A single Swallow (first) passed north at 1045hr.
