Oxenhope Watchpoint 0845 - 1200hr
Wilsden 1630 - 1830hr
Swifts in numbers not seen here since last weekend but today Swifts moving W all day into the wind during the morning at Oxenhope then during the PM at Wilsden. All were high today.... generally much higher than last weekend. No count but many hundreds if not up to the thousand mark. Otherwise just a few LBB Gulls moving NW. Interesting were four seperate Short Tailed Voles (very hairy ears) seen on the embankment path at Oxenhope. Could it be going to be a vole year?
