Oxenhope... wash out! 20-03-2010

E F1, 5degC becoming cooler, 100m reducing 60, drizzle becoming heavy rain, 9/8 fog stratus, QNH 1002 falling

0730 - 1030hr

No moving birds.

A continuing washout after heavy overnight rain... every where saturated. Interestingly though, since last week mipits were back in the in-byes and Skylarks were singing despite the rain and fogs. Teal could be heard on the fog bound water. Tomorrow could be interesting!

The most noteable thing about this morning was a successful Skype communication with Clive in Scotland.

Typical that Dave, nice all week then fog and rain for the weekend. As you say, tomorrow should be good,as I type this the sun is out and setting so it looks like the weather front has moved over.
Good news on the Skype communication to Scotland.

Also saw the sunset through the narrow band of opening sky in the west and north-west Brian.... must have been a good sign. But I would have hoped for better today (Sunday). Off out again now to see if its improved!
