Oxenhope... just for the gulls! 16-05-2010
W F5 increasing F6, 8degC, 40km, 8/8 intermittent rain, QNH 1011 troughing
0805 - 1115hr
Conditions were against it from the start with heavy showers powering over the Pennines but this didnt stop the ever flowing gull traffic NW albeit keeping lower than normal with many hugging the contours of the topography. A considerable period of the watch was from the comfort of the car this morning due to the prolonged rain and drizzle. Stray sheep being rounded up ment nothing stopping off on the water today.
