Oxenhope... blackheads pick up! 03-06-2010

E F3 becoming SSE F3, 25degC, 25km haze, 3/8, QNH 1022 falling.
1330 - 2200hr M+F Stones / DCB / CK

A hot afternoon followed by a cooler evening but with more wind than yesterday. A Ringed Plover together with a reasonable selection of gulls albeit less lessers but an increase in blackheads which were virtually all first summers was interesting and right on time! A single Swift into the wind SE, co-incided with an early evening shift of the wind could have been a for runner of a larger move... but not to be!

Moving birds:
Black headed Gull 13 > NW
Herring Gull 1 > NW
LBB Gull 56 > NW
Swift 1 > SE
Common Gull 2 > NW
Ringed Plover
