Comments: Open overnight, with little cloud through the morning, W becoming N by 1600hr, QNH steady. Hail, sleet and the FIRST SNOW of the year in the afternoon, becoming bitter cold.... A a wonderful morning to be out but terrible for movement... with virtually none, either high or on the surface. Best bird was wing tagged Red Kite, different to the previous passage birds here... again hoping for much better tomorrow!! Despite much looking, no whoops, pinks or RLB.......
