Got to have been, the way it has been picked at, any mammal would have eaten the lot, bones and all. Probably got disturbed half way through its meal.
That would have been the photo of the year
Think the picked bones rule out a mammal Bri but will endeavour to do some work on this.... I am told it might be a salmon rather than a rainbow trout... but where from? it was certainly freshly opened that morning and as you say had probably been disturbed.
