17th of October 06 watch 0.7.45 – 08.30
Weather: A damp and very foggy morning with visibility down to ¼ mile reducing to100 metres around 8.00. Temp 10c with F1 N/E wind.
Comments: A dreadful morning with dense fog ensuring little movement noted. However alba wagtail pushed through at about 5 metres above ground level. Very few overhead calls heard. Watch abandoned 8.30 (went home depressed !! )
