Curlew Migration 24-02-2007
Visited the Oxenhope watchpoint this afternoon c1430 - 1700.
Three groups of 2,3 and 5 Curlews overflew the regular Curlew roost very high > NW and NNW between 1615 and 1700 all were watched to be lost from view in the distance. None of these came back to the roost.
Also two Snow Buntings flushed from the moor and 407 Starlings with Lapwings and Golden Plovers over in-bye.
