Fly Flatts 15-07-2007

15/07/2007 0745-1015hrs
Dead calm to start then SE>3-4, specks of rain

A good move early on until the wind increased which stopped it dead.

Swifts were typical movers, fast and low and the House Martins were moving very high and direct.
48 Swift > SW
14 House Martin >SW
3 Skylark > W.. very high

Other birds present :-
230 Canadas
2 Tufted
4 Common Sand
3 LBB Gull
1 Sparrowhawk
1 Snipe

All Curlews seem to have left the moors now, is anyone else still getting them ?
