Caldene Fields Watchpoint 30-10-2007

Caldene Fields Watchpoint, Low Moor, Bradford.

 

30th   of October 07 06.30 – 08.30am

Weather: A dry morning with 30% thin high cloud to the S/W giving excellent visibility beyond 3 mile.  F1 S/W with a temp of 7deg c.  After dawn full sun.

 

Comments: An excellent watch! with near perfect viewing conditions.  Woodies were pouring through on a broad front with the majority over farmland to the east of the watchpoint. A Fieldfare movement was also noted to the S/SW and Greenfinch again passed through in record numbers.

Greenfinch > 101 W/N/W ( a site record )

Goldfinch > 7 N/W

Siskin > 5 N/W
