Oxenhope 16-09-2008

0745 - 1100hrs HC
SE F2, 9degC, 10km, 8/8 stratus, rain showers, QNH 1025 rising.

Once again, Stratus Nebulosus Translucidus featured with SE F2. Did not however coax the same level of vis mig as yesterday.

VIS MIG

Mipits - 440 south (largest group circa 100) - movement pretty much dried up by 09.15 hrs
Linnets - 6 south
Wheatear - 6 moving through down wave wall
Reed Bunting - 1 - appeared with Wheatears
Alba wag - 3 west
Skylark - 2 west
Siskin - 25 south
Swallow - 29 south
Goldfinch - 5 south
Chaffinch - 1 south
Starling - 11 south
Snipe - 1 west
Mistle Thrush - group of 12 came in from north, stopped off in wood and after 10 mins set off high south

OTHER

Usual corvids and mallard.
