W F5, 16degC, 65km, 6/8 becoming 8/8 with showers, QNH 1007 steady all day
1815 - 2130hr

Open sky overnight with virtually no wind. Picking up WSW variable W from c0600hr. Then becoming scattered with occasional showers but essentially a dry day but with increasing wind to drop off as night came in. Very few birds in the sky with continuing blackhead crash and again almost no passage waders... a very unusual scenario here for the time of year. Wheatears were on the fences on the way in together with a Stonechat... the first of the autumn but all in all a poor evening.
