Weather: 11degC. Wind W/S/W F3 to F4 blustery with low cloud but all the tops clear with haze in the distance.

Present: Grey Heron 1, Sparrowhawk 2, Red-legged Partridge 7, Little Owl 3, Green Woodpecker 1, Wheatear 1

Comments: The vis started off promising with a few Chaffinch, Redwings, Mipits and Starlings coming through but tailed off quickly with nothing after 09:15 other than 2 Meadow Pipits. The 12 Siskin came through so low that they nearly flew into me and veared off at the last second! A Wheatear on the deck was a bonus as were 7 R L Partridge in the nearby quarry and 3 Little Owls very vocal.
