1st October 08 Watch 07.00 – 09.00
Weather: A bright dry start with clearing skies to the west and 30% thick heavy cloud to the east giving sunny intervals and a F2 west wind. Around 08.00 cloud increased from the west to around 60% bringing showers and an increase in wind to F3/4. Temp 8c
Excellent ground visibility all the way to the Emley Moor Mast which is S/S/E and approximately 11 miles from my watchpoint.
Comments: A slightly better day than yesterday but still no real good numbers moving, although some mipits were moving and 25+ unidentified geese moved south at distance probably over the the Liversedge area.
