Caldene Fields Watchpoint 19-11-2008
Caldene Fields, Low Moor, Bradford.
19th November 08 Watch 07.15 – 08.45
Weather: A mild dry start, 80% cloud cover with clearer skies to the E. At 08.00 cloud cover reduced to 60% as brighter weather pushed in from the W. An F3/4 W wind and visibility to 8 miles. Temp 8c
Comments: No movements today apart from Greenfinch which followed yesterday’s movement pattern, but was interesting was the height the birds were flying which was quite high to very high, whereas usually their flight pattern is consistently fairly low.
Black Headed Gull > 3 S
Wood Pigeon > 11 N + 43 S = 54
Alba Wagtail > 2 S + 7 W = 9
Starling > 38 S/W
Redwing > 3 N + 3 W = 6
Carrion Crow > 3 S/W
Greenfinch > 45 W/S/W ( including a single party of 12 )
Chaffinch > 2 W
Goldfinch > 5 S/W
