Oxenhope 25-12-2008

0805 -1020hr
E F2, 4.5degC, visibility 100 - 400m, QNH 1035 rising.

A walk around the moor from the watchpoint and back in thick fog could only locate a single Meadow Pipit which was infact the only living thing seen or heard during the visit!

Here's to wish all contributers and readers a very Merry Christmas..... hoping for better tomorrow.

And the same to you Dave. Sounds as though your mounting a pretty lonely vigil up there. See you when activity picks up a bit.

Despite the winter there can be some wonderful days up here, its just a matter of being there at the right time..... geese, pigeons and the like!
