Weather and Sky:
An improving day after a cold and damp morning but with considerable cloud and intermittent showers. Wind: N F3. Temp: +3. Visibility: 20km. Cloud: unstable including cu fractus, cumulonimbus (to east) and other unstable stuff. Pressure: rising all day, with QNH 996hpa by 1530hr.

No passerine movements or gull departures at all this afternoon. However, thousands of gulls arriving to roost, upto c6000, mainly small gulls by 1630hr. Very large influx of Common Gulls since last evening visit.

David,
43 Pink Footed Geese circled Leeshaw res at 1520 then departed towards Lower Laithe checked but they did not land there. Also 60+ Fieldfare at Drop Farm, Leeshaw - plus 2 Golden Plover.
