Black-headed Gulls > NW (c) DCB 2008

House Martins Feeding (c) DCB 2008

1900 - 2000hr
SW F3, 15degC, Clear, 2/8, QNH 1010 rising.

Some heavy showers earlier in the late afternoon now ceased. Whilst the surface wind was from the SW the upper wind apparant only due to the quickly moving high cirrus was from the SE. Again totally Swiftless skies and apart from the House Martins over the colony very little of anything up there at all. Four Black-headed Gulls went high > NW as did two Lesser Black-backed Gulls. A Sparrowhawk was seen on a couple of occasions on the lookout for a catch. A single Pied Wagtail and Greenfinch flew west.
