Comments: Conditions similar to am but with high cirrostratus gradually advancing from the SE, with snow invading also from the SE late afternoon... ideallic conditions to be out but very little avian traffic in the sky except for the masses of gulls roostwards bound despite the frozen water!

Totals: 388 individuals, 4 species, 2:30 hours

Comments: A period of snow during the early hours left c15mm cover.. bitter cold but wildfowl and waders on the move... all high up. Three skeins of pinks SE and a skein of Wigeon W. The only passerine was a single starling NNW. Typically as I was leaving the sky was clearing and sun coming out!
