14th Feb Stainburn Moor 9.30-1100

Pink Footed Goose, 1570 NNW- all between 10.05 and 10.35; 8 flocks range 60 - 300; 1060 up Fewston side, rest Vale of York. Think another PFG movement tomorrow is likely.

Interesting and understandable that as the year gets older, the main goose slot becomes earlier in the day!

Here at Oxenhope the road to the watchpoint is still snow and ice bound after the last couple of weeks, reservoir thick with ice and moors still deep with snow..... thawing now but only slowly.
