0715 - 1045hr. DCB
Weather and Sky:
A deteriorating morning with clear skies overdrawing and rain setting in from south. Wind: S F1 rising SSW F3. Temperature: 11 rising 15degC. Visibility: Keighley Moor / Wilsden max. Cloud: initially 1ok but soon overdrawing 8ok fractus, stratocumulus and higher stratus. Precipitation: light intermittent rain later. Pressure: 1004 rising 1006hPa.

Boots today kept the feet dry. A disappointing morning with the night migrants and arrivals saving the day. Still very early but just a few Meadow Pipits, with all stopped by 0745hr, followed by even fewer Swallows and finches but the night mists under clear skies had deposited a few migrants on the tops in only marginally suitable habitat. These soon seemed to disappear and a raptor cleared the wading birds shortly after I arrived. Highlight two single Tree Pipits tseeing SW.

Meadow Pipit 20 > W
Swallow 17 > mainly S
Goldfinch 10 > W
