A poor morning with only a few moving birds,

Some activity down in the Clough in the first hour including , 8 Song Thrush, 5 Goldcrest, 6 bullfinch, 10 Long Tailed Tits,1 Jay, 2 Mistlethrush, 4 Reed Bunting.

Weather: Mild 9c and dry with no wind. 40% cloud with visibility beyond 2 miles.

Comments: A poor morning with little movement of Meadow pipit. Although movements of Black headed Gull were to the south whereas recent passage has been to the east and west.

Weather and Sky:
A damp and misty (2000m E) morning after heavy overnight rain almost upto the time of dawn. Mainly cloudy. S F2, 11 rising 14, later to Pudsey / Elslack Moor, various stratus incl alto and cirrostratus, 1000 falling 999hPa.

A very poor morning with hardly any moving birds at all throughout the watch which was abandoned early. However albas the relatively strongest movers were well distributed throughout the watch. Mipits were again blogging and feeding up profusely from c0800hr from the abundant insect activity on the embankment and wave wall. There was an influx of Mistle Thrushes and again finches but again few were moving.
