A brilliant morning, the first good one for some considerable time.... thus a considerable amount of movement... highlighted by moderate pink push from before sunrise (reported by one of the locals) with some before 0730 but with the most over the mid day slot most were going NW. Skylarks were also prominant and moving in groups of up to ten throughout E and W seemed to be the prominent directions of travel... most were high but the contact calls and snatches of song gave them away as they passed. Also the first Curlews seen on a vis watch this spring were going NE
