A bitterly cold but sunny early afternoon with open sky and hard frost lying all day. Water partly frozen. Wind: WNW F2. Temp: -3.5C air @ 1200mm and falling. Visibility: 60km. Cloud: 0 sig ok. Pressure: 1022hpa rising over last 24hrs.
Gulls coming into roost but less than half the numbers of last weekend. A couple of Fieldfare flocks, totalling about 100 going west, probably to roost, usual wildfowl. No late gull departures. No other passerines seen.
