Grey Herons going South (c) 2008

W F3, 15degC, rain for much of the day, now dry, 8/8, QNH 1005 rising.

The night of the Herons!! Virtually empty skies.... no gulls... no Swifts but three Grey Herons going south south east, two medium low and one high. Interesting in that no Grey Herons have been seen for several months overhead here.
