Counting period: 6:15-13:45 Weather: wind West2, cloud-cover 5/8, precipitation hail, visibility 45000m, temperature 8 ℃, becoming W F5 gusting F7 in storms, then W F5, var (1-8) ok, increasing 100000m+, 10degC, hail storms, cunim, QNH 1006 rising 1012

Comments: Capillatus frequent in the sky right thro from before light. Several hail storms all enveloping but short lived. Mipits strong and continuing to a lesser extent right through, few swallows and a big drop in gull movement was interesting. (low finch movement through the adjacent clough, not apparent from our watchpoint equating to in excess of Chaffinch 52 and Siskin 32 all SW, after none yesterday:BV). Grey Plover W, Snow Bunt SE and some of the Peres SE, all early on. Hercules low thro was good!
