W F5 gusting F7, 14degC, 7/8, Hazy, intermittent heavy driving drizzle (very very wet!!!).

Just out for an hour (0915 -1015.. late due to other things to do.... bah........) this morning with the incomplete event abruptly halted on several occasions by saturating driving drizzle. However a few mipits were moving in the gaps between the rain with 18 logged including one group of five! more than I would have expected taking account of the location and conditions. Not all were low with the five group comming west over the ridge quite high. All were moving west into the atrocious conditions. Nothing else was seen and the walk was abandonded.
