forgot to mention that on monday there had been a small influx of song thrush to Kex Gill - looking forward to the main thrush arrival

Hobby and Hirundines 21-09-2006

Hobby at Leeshaw Res at 1150hrs chasing Hirundines over the copse just north of the res had excellent views for 3 to 4 minutes.

Wheatear 1 Nab Water Lane,
Stonechat 3 " " " ( all adults )
Stonechat 4 Trough Lane ( 1 adult female 3 downy juveniles )

Rod Proctor reported 100+ Swallows moving south through Paul Clough between 0800 and 1000hrs, also flocks of Greenfinch and Chaffinch.
