Caldene Fields Watchpoint Low Moor Bradford
6th November 07 06.45 – 8.30am
Weather: A dry cool start to the morning with 10% cloud to the west giving excellent visibility beyond 3 miles. A hint of a N/W wind increasing to F1 around 08.00. Temp 1degC
Comments: Expectations were high this morning with near perfect viewing conditions, a drop in temperature and a slight N/W wind. However, expectations were not met with no real passage of Woodies or Thrushes noted. The only things of interest were Chaffinch moving S/S/W instead of N/W and the few Starling that went through all flew about 1 to 3 metres above ground level something I have witnessed in foggy conditions but never with very clear skies.
