1615 - 1715hr (DCB, JS, KM)
Weather and Sky:
A clean crisp but raw afternoon, with open sky and frost lying in shadows all day. Wind: E F2 increasing E F3. Temperature: -0C, reducing –1C. Visibility: a hazy 60km. Cloud: essentially an open sky, some altocumulus with a small amount of cu fractus. Pressure: rising 1030hpa.
An increase in gull numbers this week with total roost c2500 small gulls, c50 / 50 Black headed to Common. No large gulls present or seen at all. Most of the arrivals were from the north and no birds were noted moving on.
