Oxenhope Watchpoint 19-07-2008

Lapwings overhead (c) 2008..... click to make it bigger!

1430 - 1600hr
W F5, 15degC, 65km, some showers, 5/8, QNH 1008 rising.

Virtually empty skies for long periods of time. A total of 12 well spaced Swift singles all looking very mature passed (struggled!) north and north west low over the moor and through the Birdholme col. A Single adult LBB Gull also went low north through the Birdholme col. A large band of Lapwings went by almost overhead continuing north west off the north end of the reservoir. Four female Goosanders were on the water.
