Comments: Open sky til c0500 then rain advancing from the NW. A gap before dawn then a very wet morning up here but improving in the afternoon. Wind from a W qtr and QNH falling throughout.... Just a token visit to the low watchpoint c55mins around lunch time was enough but nothing except for a few Starlings on the continental track....

Down in the Valley at Keighley..... this afternoon...
Keith rang me this afternoon about Waxwings in West lane Keighley near the Catholic church. When I arrived and got out of the car I could see two House Martins feeding high overhead, then after meeting Keith the the three Waxwings returned into a bare tree adjacent to the church, this is the first time I have observed Waxwings and House Martins together.
