Initially a cloudless morning but then cumulus humilis advancing from the west. No Swift movement at all but about 30 feeding in the updraught soon moved on unseen and not to be replaced. All of the Skylarks and Meadow Pipits seen in the recent weeks now moved on. Gulls however were on the move with Common, BH and LBBGulls all going north west. No Pied Wagtails seen this morning. The first Willow Warbler of the autumn was calling from the scrub.
