Weather and Sky:
A fair weather afternoon, dry, with much higher cloud and leaping pressure. Wind: NW F2 / 3. Temp: +4 and falling. Visibility: a very hazy 60km. Cloud: mainly strato 5 – 7ok. Pressure: rising strongly with 1009hpa at 1630hr.

An improvement to the gull roost with o/a count c2000 small gulls c 50 / 50% BHG and Common. Otherwise only three Herring Gulls. The BHG tended to be the later arrivers. No onward movement or departure of pre roost flocks noted but roost still filling at departure - edge of dark. No passerines noted at all.

A single Curlew was heard calling from the moor – unusual for the time of year here!!
